Where’s the trick?
I don’t trust the Democrats on this one. Must be either or two things. There’s a poison pill that will not actually allow drilling or they know the Senate will kill it.

The trick is that the oil drilling is limited to being 50 or more miles offshore. Most of the offshore oil is between the three and 50 mile mark. Democrats have ensured their reelection by “doing something” about the problem and have also prevented any reductions in foreign oil dependence because we won’t find much oil that far out.
Nice site, btw. I read it regularly.

Who will benefit from this?
If the American People control the oil, then we can say what the price is, and how much of it we can get.
However, if Exxon controls the oil, we will continue to pay high gas prices, and they will continue to profit.
