kindling the green flame at the feet of snow capped mountains
next a field of wild flowers
burning green all summer long as cotton candy clouds stroll on by
burns so fiercely that one might imagine that even a mountain could be consumed by riotous growth
discard the moon
through it way on a whim on a summer’s day
or at dawn when the sun is about to get fierce and you don’t want to be caught out communing with other celestial bodies
an gass estuary splayed out like ducks toes into the cold waters of the bay
